Urban Pilgrimage Partnerships
In response to our urban pilgrimage to Senegal and South Africa in February 2007, students and alumni/ae of City Seminary of New York formed Urban Pilgrimage Partnerships. We hope to sustain our relationships with those we visited over the long term by raising awareness of their work in urban ministry. We do this in three ways: (1) through a personal gift from our seminary community, (2) by linking our UPP colleagues with churches in NYC, and (3) by sharing our story via the Andrew Walls Gallery. Reverend Frank and Thelma Makoro from the Centre for Church Leadership and Community Development will also be the keynote speakers at our Fall Conference on Urban Ministry.
