Pentecostalism in African Christianity: A discursive interpretation
Rev. Dr. Ogbu Kalu
Dr. Kalu is the Henry Winters Luce Professor of World Christianity and Mission at McCormick Theological Seminary. Dr. Kalu came to McCormick in 2001 from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, where he had served as Professor of Church History for many years. He is an elder in the Presbyterian Church of Nigeria. He has served as visiting professor at several institutions, including Harvard, Bayreuth, Toronto, McGill, Edinburgh, Pretoria, and the Presbyterian Theological Seminary in Seoul. He has published extensively: 15 books, including Power, Poverty and Prayer: The Challenges of Poverty and Pluralism in African Christianity, 1960-1996 and as editor, History of the Church in the Third World: Vol. III, African Christianity: An African Story, plus more than 150 articles in journals and edited volumes. For many years, Ogbu provided leadership in theological education in Africa and he is currently the Director of the Christianity in Africa Project.

History of Christianity in the Americas
Dr. Luis N. Rivera-Pagán
Dr. Rivera-Pagán, Princeton Theological Seminary’s Henry Winters Luce Professor of Ecumenics and Mission, holds an S.T.M., an M.A., and a Ph.D., all from Yale University. An American Baptist and a native of Puerto Rico, he is editor of the official report of the Ninth Assembly of the World Council of Churches (Brazil, 2006). He teaches courses on Latin American theology, Third World liberation theologies, theological readings of world literature, and problems and issues in the 16th-century Christianization of the Americas. He is interested in the history of Latin American Christianity, and theology and literature.

Survey of Christianity in China: 8th century to present - Part 1
Rev. Dr. Grace Ying May
Dr. May holds an M.Div from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and Th.D and Boston University. Dr. May's research and interest have focused on the church in China, the Chinese diaspora, and women in ministry. An ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church (USA), she is currently pastoring the English Service at the First Chinese Presbyterian Church in NYC and has served at Roxbury Presbyterian Church, an African-American church in Boston. She has presented a paper on house church movements in China at the Costas Consultation of Global Christianity, served as a panelist on China and Religious Freedom at the U.S. Department of State, presented a paper on Watchman Nee's Spiritual Formation at the Evangelical Theological Society, spoke on calling at the inaugural Keaton Lectureship at the American Baptist Seminary of the West, participated in the Catalyst Asian American Christian Leadership Forum and most recently taught in Kenya on biblical equality at a pastors' conference. She taught missiology and theology at Gordon-Conwell. Her publications include contributions to the Global God, InterVarsity Women's Bible Commentary, and Christians for Biblical Equality's Priscilla Papers.
