Young Lee Hertig & Chloe Sun) organized by The Institute for the Study of Asian American Christianity (ISAAC) and Asian American Women on Leadership (AAWOL). Young Lee Hertig and Joy Young will share about the book and have time for questions and discussion. Light refreshments will be provided, and copies of the book will be available for sale. Join us for a time of communal scripture reading, prayer walks around the neighborhood, and a taste of New York City's diverse cuisine. We will meet at Greater Restoration Baptist Church, located at 1156 St. Johns Place, at 10:00 am. There we will meet Katrina Monta (MF 0910), Yolanda Solomon (MA 2010) and current Ministry Fellows student, Rodney Solomon, who will be our co-hosts for this program.
To get to Greater Restoration Baptist Church, take either the 3, to Kingston Avenue stop or the 3 or 4 train to the Utica Avenue stop. St. John’s Street is a couple of minutes walk from the subway station.
After the prayer walk, we will be sampling some delicious West Indian cuisine at Glenda's West Indian Home Cooking. I am told that nothing on the menu is above $10 (what a steal!)
