Saturday, October 8th, 2011.  9:00am-1:00pm
pbb. ROOSEVELT AVE Queens
Come and join us as we travel aboard the 7 Line (dubbed the International Express) as it rumbles above the communities that exist along Roosevelt Avenue.  Over the course of the day, we will make two stops (Corona Plaza, and Flushing) and get a glimpse of some of the dynamic communities that call this major Avenue home.  We will be having lunch (dim sim) in Flushing at Jade Asian Restaurant - please remember to bring money to cover the cost of your lunch.

For those who are able to join us, we will be meeting at the Corona Park sign on the street at 9:00 am.  When you arrive, exit in the direction of Roosevelt Avenue and 103rd street.  Once you are on the street level, look for the Corona Park sign. As a heads up, the 7 train will not be running between Times Square/42nd Street and Queensboro Plaza due to track/service work.  As a alternative, take the N train from Times Square/42nd Street to Queensboro Plaza and then transfer to the 7 train going to Flushing.

So bring a friend, bring yourself and come and join us for a time of communal scripture reading, prayer, walking and a taste of New York City's diverse cuisine.

This event will be hosted by Janice McLean and the other members of the Ministry Fellows Faculty. To RSVP and enquire about details, please contact pbb.nyc@cityseminaryny.org
