MARK GORNIK

New Song Community Church, Manhattan
Mark is the director of City Seminary of New York. He and his wife, Rita, and two boys, Peter and Daniel, live on the Upper West Side. Mark has spent the last 25 years of his life as a pastor, community developer and researcher in African churches in NYC and beyond.  He is the author of “To Live in Peace: Biblical Faith and the Changing Inner City”, based on his experience in Sandtown, Baltimore.

JANICE MCLEAN

New Song Community Church, Manhattan
Janice is originally from Jamaica and currently lives in Washington Heights. She is the coordinator of the Global New York Church Project and the Seminary Library. As a researcher, her focus is on West Indian Christianity and immigrant youth. She is passionate about the growth and development of the global church and loves to cook and take nature pictures.

MARIA LIU WONG

Redeemer Presbyterian Church, Manhattan
Maria is the dean of City Seminary of New York, mother of two rambunctious boys, and a doctoral candidate in Adult Learning and Leadership at Teachers College, Columbia University.  She lives in the Lower East Side with her family, and is passionate about God, social justice and good food.

ADEBISI OYESILE

Redeemer Christian Church of God, Brooklyn
Adebisi is the pastor of Redeemed Christian Church of God, Chapel of Hope parish in Brooklyn, which he established in 2006. A strong team player with analytical skills, Adebisi is passionate about preaching the gospel. He believes that the greatest life is living in obedience in Jesus Christ.  As Apostle Paul said, "For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified" (1 Cor. 2:2), (Gal.2:20).

LAURA SPEILLER

Queens Community Alliance Church, Queens
Laura lives in Flushing with her husband, Howard, and their family.  Laura has enjoyed serving in various capacities on the pastoral staff of NLF Church in Queens, giving spiritual direction, and mentoring church leaders.  She serves at CSNY as Ministry Fellows faculty and administrator for the MF Program.   Her passion is seeing leaders mature in the area of spiritual formation, and she loves to unwind and have fun by playing Eurogames. 

GEOMON GEORGE, INTERN

International Gospel Church of Connecticut, Norwalk, CT
Geomon was born in India and immigrated to the United States at the age of 12.  He is living in the Bronx, New York with his wife, Reji, and children, Lydia, Deborah and Zoe.  They pastor a church in Norwalk, CT.  He also works with the Children’s Aid Society (CAS) as a teacher at Academy of Scholarship and Entrepreneurship (ASE), and provides leadership to the International Gospel Church, a mission organization involved with church planting and social transformation in India.  His prayer for this year is that he may grow more like Christ Jesus.

GRACE MAY, INTERN

Emmanuel Presbyterian Church, Manhattan
Grace lives on the border of Chinatown, where she has found a flourishing community.  An ordained minister in the Presbytery of NYC, she has pastored and taught in Boston and New York for 12 years.  She yearns to see revival and the fulfilling of God’s promise for his sons and daughters to prophesy
